Providers
How Pediatric PittNet Help Providers
Pediatric PittNet actively disseminates research opportunities and findings to providers, staff, and parents in the practice community through a wide range of outreach strategies. Outreach to parents is conducted through original videos and slides on eMessage boards in practice waiting rooms and on our website. Outreach to providers and practice staff is conducted through lunch time teleconferences with investigators, in our network newsletter, The Paw, and regular email updates, including the Featured Study of the Month.

Please note that Pediatric PittNet requires prospective investigators seeking to conduct research in network practices to apply and receive approval from Pediatric PittNet prior to contacting member practices. If a researcher contacts you directly about a study, please refer them to Alex Mykita at aam140@pitt.edu.

Practices interested in joining the network should contact Carrie Fascetti at christopherc@upmc.edu for more information.
