SERVICE REQUEST Submissions

Please note: Investigators interested in conducting research involving Pediatric PittNet practices must receive approval from the Pediatric PittNet Executive Committee prior to contacting member practices or implementing any study procedures in the practices. Pediatric PittNet will only accept studies relevant to pediatric primary care practice. The network will not accept Phase I clinical trials.

Note: Research activity cannot begin in Pediatric PittNet sites without HRPO and Pediatric PittNet Executive Committee approval.

Pediatric PittNet Services Request

Step 1:
Contact Alex Mykita at aam140@pitt.edu to start your service request. Please provide in your email your full study title and abstract. Once the request is processed, you will receive an email to complete a Pediatric PittNet Application for Services.

Step 2:
Consult with PittNet regarding what modifications will need to be made to your PittPRO application.

Step 3:
Complete the Service Form for Pediatric PittNet Committee Review.

All research studies must have initial HRPO approval to use Pediatric PittNet services before they can be reviewed by the Executive Committee.

Letter of Support Request

Step 1:
A Letter of Support (LOS) Request Form should be submitted to Pediatric PittNet for our Committee to review. If approved, Pediatric PittNet will complete a LOS so that the letter can be included in grant applications to the funding agency.

Step 2:
Complete the Letter of Support Request Form. Submit the LOS form and a copy of your grant proposal to Alex by the due date.
